Abstract
A data router serves User Equipment (UEs) over network connections to network slices. The data router receives a container configuration and a connection configuration from a wireless communication network. The data router exchanges user data with the UEs. The data router executes data applications in operating system containers based on the container configuration. The data applications exchange the user data with the network slices over the network connections based on the connection configuration.

A method of operating a data router to serve User Equipment (UEs) over network connections to network slices, the method comprising:
- the data router receiving a container configuration and a connection configuration from a wireless communication network;
- the data router exchanging user data with the UEs;
- the data router executing data applications in operating system containers based on the container configuration;
- and
- the data applications exchanging the user data with the network slices over the network connections based on the connection configuration.
A method of operating a data router to serve User Equipment (UEs) over network connections to network slices, the method comprising:
- a network radio receiving a container configuration and a connection configuration from a wireless communication network;
- a user radio exchanging user data with the UEs;
- processing circuitry executing data applications in operating system containers based on the container configuration;
- and
- the data applications exchanging the user data with the network slices over the network radio and the network connections based on the connection configuration.
A data router to serve User Equipment (UEs) over network connections to network slices, the data router comprising:
- a network radio to receive a container configuration and a connection configuration from a wireless communication network;
- a user radio to exchange user data with the UEs;
- processing circuitry to execute data applications in operating system containers based on the container configuration;
- and
- the data applications to exchange the user data with the network slices over the network radio and the network connections based on the connection configuration.
