Abstract
Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, processes, and computer-readable media for wireless communications. For example, a process may include receiving, at a network device (e.g., a vehicle or other type of network device), a plurality of messages using a first type of communication protocol, wherein the network device is part of a platoon including a plurality of network devices (e.g., a plurality of vehicles or other network device). The process may include generating, at the network device, a summary message summarizing the plurality of messages. The process may include transmitting the summary message using a second type of communication protocol.
Claims30
A method for wireless communications at a network device, the method comprising:
- receiving, at the network device, a plurality of messages using a first type of communication protocol, wherein the network device is part of a platoon including a plurality of network devices;
- generating, at the network device, a summary message summarizing the plurality of messages;
- and
- transmitting the summary message using a second type of communication protocol.
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- at least one memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to at least one memory and configured to:
- receive a plurality of messages using a first type of communication protocol, wherein the apparatus is part of a platoon including a plurality of network devices;
- generate a summary message summarizing the plurality of messages;
- and
- output the summary message for transmission using a second type of communication protocol.
