Abstract
A vehicle monitoring technique includes detecting a person around a vehicle based on point cloud data acquired from a sensor that emits search waves, and determining whether the detected person has authentication information valid for an action against the vehicle.
Claims12
A vehicle monitoring device comprising:
- a detection unit configured to detect a person around a vehicle based on point cloud data acquired from a sensor that emits search waves;
- and
- an authentication unit configured to determine whether the person detected by the detection unit has authentication information valid for an action against the vehicle.
A vehicle monitoring method for monitoring a person around a vehicle, the method comprising:
- detecting the person around the vehicle based on point cloud data acquired from a sensor that emits search waves;
- and
- determining whether the detected person has authentication information valid for an action against the vehicle.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having instructions that, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform a method of monitoring a person around a vehicle, the method comprising:
- detecting the person around the vehicle based on point cloud data acquired from a sensor that emits search waves;
- and
- determining whether the detected person has authentication information valid for an action against the vehicle.
