Abstract
An advertisement display method is performed by an electronic device configured with a display, and includes: displaying a splash advertisement based on first duration in response to an operation of opening a first application by a user; and displaying a home page of the first application after the display of the splash advertisement expires, and displaying a thumbnail advertisement at a preset location on the home page of the first application.

An advertisement display method, applied to an electronic device configured with a display, wherein the method comprises:
- displaying a splash advertisement based on first duration in response to an operation of opening a first application by a user, wherein the first duration indicates display duration of the splash advertisement;
- displaying a home page of the first application after the display of the splash advertisement expires;
- and
- displaying a thumbnail advertisement at a preset location on the home page, wherein the thumbnail advertisement is a non-full-screen display advertisement corresponding to the splash advertisement.

An electronic device comprising:
- a display;
- a memory storing executable instructions;
- a processors configured to execute the executable instructions to perform operations of:
- displaying, on the display, a splash advertisement based on first duration in response to an operation of opening a first application by a user, wherein the first duration indicates display duration of the splash advertisement;
- displaying a home page of the first application after the display of the splash advertisement expires;
- and
- displaying a thumbnail advertisement at a preset location on the home page, wherein the thumbnail advertisement is a non-full-screen display advertisement corresponding to the splash advertisement.

A computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon executable instructions that, when executed by a processor of an electronic device, cause the electronic device to perform operations of:

- displaying a home page of the first application after the display of the splash advertisement expires;
- and
