Abstract
The present invention provides a film for a liquid crystal device that is a film (15 or 16) used for a liquid crystal device (10) and contains a thermoplastic resin, in which the NI point change of liquid crystal upon contacting the film with the liquid crystal is −2° C. to +2° C.

A film for a liquid crystal device used for a liquid crystal device, comprising a thermoplastic resin, the film providing a NI point change upon contacting the film for a liquid crystal device with liquid crystal being −2° C. to +2° C.
A film for an electronic device used for an electronic device,
- the film comprising a thermoplastic resin,
- the film comprising no plasticizer or comprising at least any of a plasticizer having a hydroxy group and a plasticizer not having a hydroxy group, a content of the plasticizer having a hydroxy group being 70 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin, and a content of the plasticizer not having a hydroxy group being 25 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin.
