Abstract
Pharmaceutical compositions of the invention comprise kinase inhibitors having a disease-modifying action in the treatment of diseases associated with BCR-ABL activity that include cancer, including chronic myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, multiple myeloma, lymphomas, and metastatic carcinoma.

A compound having formula (I):
- including enantiomers, diastereomers, tautomers, hydrates, solvates, pharmaceutically acceptable salts, prodrugs, and complexes thereof, wherein:
- R1 is selected from the group consisting of C1-6 alkyl and nitrile;
- R2 is selected from the group consisting of
- and optionally substituted five membered heteoaromatic ring containing one to three atoms selected from nitrogen and sulfur;
- R3 is selected from the group consisting of C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, C1-6 haloalkyl, C1-6 haloalkoxy, halogen, and —CONR9aR9b;
- R4 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, C1-6 haloalkyl, C1-6 haloalkoxy, halogen, and —CONR9aR9b;
- R5 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen,
- R6 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen
- R7 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen,
- R9a is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C1-6 alkyl;
- and R9b is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C1-6 alkyl;
