Abstract
A packaging assembly comprises a case configured to at least partially contain a plurality of injection devices for delivering a medicament; and a sensor arrangement comprising at least one device sensor; wherein the at least one device sensor is configured to detect one or more injection devices contained in the case, and to output a signal according to a result of the detection.
Claims18
A packaging assembly (100) comprising:
- a case (110) configured to at least partially contain a plurality of injection devices (10) for delivering a medicament;
- a sensor arrangement (240) comprising at least one device sensor (241),
- wherein the at least one device sensor (241) is configured to detect one or more injection devices (10) contained in the case (110), and to output a signal according to a result of the detection;
- a lid (120) coupled to the case (110) and movable between an open position and a closed position;
- and
- a lid sensor (252) configured to output a signal representative of a change in position of the lid (120) from the closed position to the open position;
- wherein the sensor arrangement (240) is configured to activate based on the signal received from the lid sensor (252).
The packaging assembly (100) of any preceding claim, wherein the at least one device sensor (241) is configured to detect an identity of a detected injection device (10) and to output a signal representative of the detected identity.
The packaging assembly (100) of any preceding claim, wherein the at least one device sensor (241) is configured to detect injection information relating to the one or more detected injection devices (10).
The packaging assembly (100) of any preceding claim, wherein the at least one device sensor (241) is further configured to output a signal indicating the removal of an injection device (10) from the case (110).
The packaging assembly (100) of any preceding claim, wherein the sensor arrangement (240) comprises a device sensor (241) arranged externally on the case (110), and configured to detect each injection device (10) before it is placed in the case (110).
The packaging assembly (100) of any preceding claim, wherein the packaging assembly further comprises a light sensor (251) configured to detect light incident on the packaging assembly (100).
