Abstract
Surgical devices and surgical systems are disclosed. The surgical device can comprise an actuator and a control circuit configured to adjust one or more functions of the surgical device based on a signal from a situationally-aware surgical hub. A surgical system can comprise a screen and a control circuit configured to communicate a priority level of a recommendation to the clinician on the display.

A system, comprising:
- a handheld surgical device comprising a first control circuit comprising a user actuator, wherein an actuation of the user actuator is configured to effect a surgical function;
- and
- a screen separate from the handheld surgical device, wherein the screen comprises a second control circuit communicatively coupled to the first control circuit, wherein the second control circuit comprises a user interface configured to receive a user input, and wherein the second control circuit is configured to:
- receive an input signal from the user interface indicative of an adjustment to the surgical function associated with the user actuator;
- and
- transmit an output signal to the first control circuit based on the input signal.

- a surgical device comprising a first control circuit to selectively control the surgical device;
- an actuator communicatively coupled to the first control circuit, wherein an actuation of the actuator is configured to implement a surgical function by the surgical device;
