Security features for aerosol generation device

A system comprising:

• an aerosol provision device;
• and
• a security device connectable to the aerosol provision device, the security device configured to engage the aerosol provision device when the security device is connected to the aerosol provision device, and prevent use of the aerosol provision device as long as the security device is connected to the aerosol provision device, the security device switchable between states in which the security device is respectively locked in engagement with the aerosol provision device, or allowed to disengage from the aerosol provision device to enable separation of the security device from the aerosol provision device.

A security device connectable to an aerosol provision device, the security device comprising:

• an engagement assembly configured to engage the aerosol provision device when the security device is connected to the aerosol provision device, and prevent use of the aerosol provision device as long as the security device is connected to the aerosol provision device;
• and
• a locking assembly operably coupled to the engagement assembly, the locking assembly switchable between a locked state in which the engagement assembly is locked in engagement with the aerosol provision device to prevent separation of the security device from the aerosol provision device, and an unlocked state in which the engagement assembly is allowed to disengage from the aerosol provision device to enable separation of the security device from the aerosol provision device.
