Abstract
The present disclosure provides catalysts, reactor systems, and methods for the conversion of carbon dioxide and hydrogen gas into paraffins, olefins, and other hydrocarbon products. Methods for utilization of mixtures of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen gas in a manner distinct from legacy Fischer-Tropsch reactors to produce hydrocarbons is also included.

1-173. (canceled)
A catalyst for the production of paraffins comprising:
- one or more metals selected from cobalt, iron, nickel, indium, yttrium, and a lanthanide;
- one or more second elements selected from copper and zinc;
- optionally one or more Group VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, or XI metal additives;
- optionally a Group IA or IIA metal promoter.
A modified CZA catalyst comprising:
- copper;
- zinc;
- one or more first elements selected from iron or cobalt;
- oxygen;
- optionally, aluminum;
- and
- optionally, one or more Group IA or IIA metals;
- wherein the one or more first elements is present in an amount of about 1 to about 40 wt. % of the total amount of the copper, zinc, one or more first elements, and the optional Group IA or IIA metal.
A method for the conversion of CO2 and a first reduction gas to long-chain hydrocarbons comprising:
- contacting a feed mixture comprising CO2 and the first reduction gas with a first catalyst to produce a product mixture comprising long-chain hydrocarbons, wherein the first catalyst comprises:
- one or more metals selected from cobalt, iron, nickel, indium, yttrium, a lanthanide, and combinations thereof;
- one or more second elements selected from copper and zinc.
