Abstract
An over-the-door hanging apparatus includes a support structure extending along a longitudinal axis and having a rear surface. A first mounting bracket that is elongated in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the support structure is coupled to the rear surface of the support structure. A bracket assembly may include a first elongate member having a first bracket that is configured to engage a top edge of a door, a second elongate member having a second bracket that is configured to engage the top edge of the door, and at least one mounting element. The support structure may be configured to be mounted to the bracket assembly through engagement between the at least one mounting element of the bracket assembly and the first mounting bracket.
Claims8
A kit comprising:
- a support structure having a rear surface;
- at least one first mounting element located on the rear surface of the support structure;
- and
- a bracket assembly comprising:
- at least one second mounting element that is configured to interact with the first mounting element to mount the bracket assembly to the support structure without any hardware that is distinct from the bracket assembly and the support structure;
- and
- at least one bracket configured to engage a top edge of a door to hang the support structure from the door when the bracket assembly is mounted to the support structure.
An over-the-door hanging apparatus comprising:
- a support structure;
- at least one first mounting element coupled to the support structure;
- a bracket assembly comprising at least one second mounting element and at least one bracket;
- wherein the bracket assembly can be coupled to the support structure via engagement between the at least one second mounting element of the bracket assembly and the at least one first mounting element that is coupled to the support structure;
- and
- wherein the bracket assembly can be hung from a door via engagement between the at least one bracket of the bracket assembly and a top edge of the door.
A kit comprising:
- a support structure comprising a mirror;
- and
