Abstract
The present application relates to a Pediococcus pentosaceus and application thereof. The Pediococcus pentosaceus is Pediococcus pentosaceus EL5 with deposit number of CGMCC No. 23923. The Pediococcus pentosaceus EL5 of an embodiment of the present application can be used for silage to improve the activity of lactic acid bacteria and the quality of silage fermentation.

A Pediococcus pentosaceus EL5 with the deposit number of CGMCC No. 23923.
A silage, comprising a Pediococcus pentosaceus EL5;
- wherein the Pediococcus pentosaceus EL5 comprises 16S rRNA as shown in SEQ ID NO. 1.
A preparation method of a silage, comprising:
- mixing silage raw material with a Pediococcus pentosaceus EL5 and fermenting to produce the silage;
- wherein the silage comprises the Pediococcus pentosaceus EL5, and the Pediococcus pentosaceus EL5 comprises 16S rRNA as shown in SEQ ID NO. 1.
