Abstract
Disclosed are baby formula compositions and methods of making thereof. In some embodiments, the baby formula composition includes goat milk and a variety of other nutritional components. In some embodiments, the baby formula composition is provided as a powder, to be mixed with water and fed to a baby or toddler. In some embodiments, the baby formula composition is suitable for babies at least 12 months in age or older.

A baby formula composition comprising:
- goat milk isolate or derivative;
- lactose;
- small and medium chain fatty acids;
- and
- a plurality of nutritional additives.

A method for preventing childhood obesity and/or diabetes, the method comprising:
- administering, to an infant or child in need thereof, an effective amount of a baby formula composition, the baby formula composition comprising
- goat milk and goat milk proteins,
- a source of fats,
