Vented Fluid Transfer Lid

A transfer lid for coupling engagement with a threaded open end of a container, the transfer lid comprising:

• a circular top panel comprising a transfer port extending from a central position on the top panel outwardly in a first or distal direction;
• and
• an attachment collar extending in a second or proximal direction from the top panel, an interior circumferential face of the attachment collar comprising threads for releasable engagement with corresponding exterior threads of the threaded open end of the container,
• wherein at least a portion of an interior surface of the top panel comprises a texturized surface finish, and wherein the threaded open end of the container removably couples to the attachment collar such that at least one vent path is provided between the texturized surface finish of the interior surface of the top panel and the threaded open end of the container.

A transfer lid for coupling engagement with a threaded open end of a container, the transfer lid comprising:

• a top panel comprising a transfer port extending from a central position on the top panel outwardly in a first or distal direction, the transfer port configured for compatible engagement with a coupling of a syringe;
• and
• an attachment collar extending in a second or proximal direction from the top panel, an interior circumferential face of the attachment collar comprising threads for releasable engagement with corresponding exterior threads of the threaded open end of the container,
• wherein at least a portion of the transfer port comprises a texturized surface finish, and wherein engagement of the coupling of the syringe with the transfer port defines an engagement interface comprising at least one vent path.
