A bearing element (5) for being arranged in a bearing receptacle (7) of a bearing assembly (1) comprising a bearing element body (6) embodied as a sliding bearing element and a sensor (8) for measuring at least one operating parameter of the bearing element (5), as well as a telemetry device (9), wherein the bearing element body (6) is connected to the telemetry device (9) by means of a connecting element (10), wherein the telemetry device (9) is connected to the sensor (8) by means of electric conductors (18), wherein the connection between the electric conductors (18) is line-connected, wherein the connecting element (10) has a strip-shaped or strap-shaped design and wherein the electric conductors (18) are arranged on the connecting element (10).
