Abstract
A method includes detecting a signal transmitted from an external communication apparatus and displaying, based on the detected signal, information of the communication apparatus corresponding to the signal on a display unit of an information processing apparatus. If a first signal is detected, a notification screen for prompting a user to perform a specification operation on a communication apparatus is displayed on the display unit. If a second signal is detected after displaying the notification screen on the display unit, in a case in which the second signal corresponds to the specification operation, information of the communication apparatus corresponding to the second signal is displayed on the display unit.
Claims16
A method comprising:
- detecting a signal transmitted from an external communication apparatus;
- and
- displaying, based on the detected signal, information of the communication apparatus corresponding to the signal on a display unit of an information processing apparatus,
- wherein if a first signal is detected, a notification screen for prompting a user to perform a specification operation on a communication apparatus is displayed on the display unit, and
- if a second signal is detected after displaying the notification screen on the display unit, in a case in which the second signal corresponds to the specification operation, information of the communication apparatus corresponding to the second signal is displayed on the display unit.
A method executed in a communication apparatus comprising:
- transmitting a signal detectable by an external information processing apparatus;
- generating, after a first signal is transmitted, a second signal corresponding to a specification operation based on acceptance of the specification operation;
- and
- transmitting the generated second signal.
A communication apparatus comprising:
- a transmission unit configured to transmit a signal detectable by an external information processing apparatus;
- a generation unit configured to generate, after the transmission unit transmits a first signal, a second signal corresponding to a specification operation based on acceptance of the specification operation;
- and
- a control unit configured to cause the transmission unit to transmit the second signal generated by the generation unit.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program configured to cause a computer to function to:
- detect a signal transmitted from an external communication apparatus;
- and
- display, based on the detected signal, information of the communication apparatus corresponding to the signal on a display unit of an information processing apparatus,
- wherein if a first signal is detected, a notification screen for prompting a user to perform a specification operation on a communication apparatus is displayed on the display unit, and
- if a second signal is detected after displaying the notification screen on the display unit, in a case in which the second signal corresponds to the specification operation, information of the communication apparatus corresponding to the second signal is displayed on the display unit.
