A metal complex or adduct thereof, which is represented by the following Formula (1) or (2):

• (where,
• M represents an iron atom or a cobalt atom,
• D1 to D28 each independently represent a nitrogen atom, a sulfur atom or a carbon atom,
• and when D1 to D28 are carbon atoms, the carbon atoms may be each independently bonded to a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an alkoxy group or an alkylthio group)
• where, in Formula (1), when the number of carbon atoms among D1 to D16 is 8 or less,
• at least one of the carbon atoms is bonded to a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an alkoxy group or an alkylthio group or
• the metal complex of Formula (1) forms an adduct.
