Abstract
A valve includes a valve housing provided with an inlet port and an outlet port a valve body to be driven by a drive source a spring that urges the valve bodyin a direction opposite a direction of driving by the drive source and a valve seat formed at an edge of a through-flow passage The valve body and the valve seat cooperatively form a poppet valve. The valve is configured to control a flow rate in accordance with a movement of the valve body Flow passages on a downstream side of the poppet valve are provided with increase regions where a flow passage cross-sectional area tends to increase toward the downstream side.

A valve, comprising:
- a valve housing provided with an inlet port and an outlet port;
- a valve body configured to be driven by a drive source;
- a spring configured to urge the valve body in a direction opposite a direction of driving by the drive source;
- and
- a valve seat formed at an edge of a through-flow passage the valve body and the valve seat cooperatively forming a poppet valve, the valve being configured to control a flow rate in accordance with a movement of the valve body,
- wherein a flow passage on a downstream side of the poppet valve is provided with an increase region where a flow passage cross-sectional area tends to increase toward the downstream side.
