Abstract
An articulated trailer hitch assembly for coupling a trailing unit to a towing vehicle is provided. The articulated trailer hitch assembly comprises a towing vehicle engagement member adapted for being mounted to the towing vehicle at a first end portion thereof An articulating member is pivotally movable mounted to the towing vehicle engagement member at a second end portion thereof. A trailing unit engagement member is longitudinally movable mounted to the articulating member. The trailing unit engagement member is longitudinally movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The trailing unit engagement member is adapted for being coupled to the trailing unit.
Claims18
An articulating trailer hitch assembly for coupling a trailing unit to a towing vehicle comprising:
- a towing vehicle engagement member adapted for being mounted to the towing vehicle at a first end portion thereof;
- an articulating member pivotally movable mounted to the towing vehicle engagement member at a second end portion thereof;
- and,
- a trailing unit engagement member longitudinally movable mounted to the articulating member, the trailing unit engagement member being longitudinally movable between a retracted position and an extended position, the trailing unit engagement member being adapted for being coupled to the trailing unit.
