Abstract
A method of quality control of a specimen prepared from a sample according to an embodiment may include: setting, from a control index information (MII) in which a plurality of indexes for the specimen are respectively associated with control values corresponding to the plurality of indexes, at least one index to be used for quality control of the specimen; obtaining a feature value relating to the at least one index from image data of the specimen; and outputting quality control information of the specimen based on the feature value and a control value associated with the at least one index.

A method of quality control for a specimen that is prepared from a sample comprising:
- setting, from a control index information in which a plurality of indexes for the specimen are respectively associated with control values corresponding to the plurality of indexes, at least one index to be used for the quality control for the specimen;
- obtaining, from image data of the specimen, a feature value relating to the at least one index;
- and
- outputting, based on the feature value and the control value that is associated with the at least one index, quality control information for the specimen.
A quality control apparatus to perform quality control of a specimen that is prepared from a sample, comprising a controller, wherein
- the controller is configured to:
- set, from control index information in which a plurality of indexes for the specimen are respectively associated with control values corresponding to the plurality of indexes, at least one index to be used for the quality control of the specimen;
- obtain, from image data of the specimen, a feature value relating to the at least one index;
- and
- output, based on the feature value and the control value that is associated with the at least one index, quality control information for the specimen.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program, which when read and executed, causes a quality control apparatus that performs quality control of a specimen prepared from a sample to perform operations comprising:
- setting, from control index information in which a plurality of indexes for the specimen are respectively associated with control values corresponding to the plurality of indexes, at least one index to be used for the quality control of the specimen;
- obtaining, from image data of the specimen, a feature value relating to the at least one index;
- and
- outputting, based on the feature value and the control value that is associated with the at least one index, quality control information for the specimen.
