Abstract
Compositions for a phage particle are disclosed. The phage particle is non-replicating and includes at least one heterologous nucleic acid sequence that is capable of being expressed in a target bacteria. The expressed heterologous nucleic acid sequence is non-lethal to the target bacteria.
Claims25
A phage derived particle comprising:
- at least one therapeutic sequence;
- and
- a receptor binding protein designed to attach, in vivo, to at least one target bacteria,
- wherein the at least one therapeutic sequence can be expressed in the target bacteria and the expressed therapeutic sequence is non-lethal to the target bacteria.
A phage particle comprising at least one heterologous nucleic acid sequence that is capable of being expressed in a target bacteria and the expressed heterologous nucleic acid sequence is non-lethal to the target bacteria and wherein the phage particle is non-replicating.
A composition comprising a non-lytic phage particle including a non-lytic nucleic acid sequence that can be expressed in a target bacteria, wherein the composition is incapable of independent production of phage progeny.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
