The header includes at least one base cutting assembly mounted in a floating manner in relation to a structural frame of the header through at least one pantographic arm and at least one actuator.

An independent header for agricultural machinery, the header comprising:
- a structural frame;
- a mobile structural assembly comprising:
- at least one pantographic arm;
- and
- at least one actuator;
- and
- at least one base cutting assembly mounted in a floating manner in relation to the structural frame through the mobile structural assembly.
