Abstract
An information processing apparatus is provided. The apparatus generates a name using characters recognized in image data, assign the name to the image data, and store the image data; makes a request for approval by a user regarding the name, transmit the image data to an external apparatus after the image data is approved by the user, and deletes the image data; in a case where the image data has exceeded a predetermined storage period without the name being approved by the user, in a case where the name satisfies a predetermined condition, transmits the image data to the external apparatus before deleting the image data; and deletes the image data that has exceeded the predetermined storage period without the name being approved by the user.
Claims12
An information processing apparatus comprising:
- one or more memories configured to store one or more programs;
- and
- one or more processors, wherein the one or more processors are caused by the one or more programs to:
- generate a name using characters recognized in image data, assign the name to the image data, and store the image data;
- make a request for approval by a user regarding the name, transmit the image data to an external apparatus after the image data is approved by the user, and delete the image data;
- in a case where the image data has exceeded a predetermined storage period without the name being approved by the user, in a case where the name satisfies a predetermined condition, transmit the image data to the external apparatus before deleting the image data;
- and
- delete the image data that has exceeded the predetermined storage period without the name being approved by the user.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing thereon a program which, when loaded into a computer and executed, causes the computer to execute a process, the process comprising:
- generating a name using characters recognized in image data, assigning the name to the image data, and storing the image data;
- making a request for approval by a user regarding the name, transmitting the image data to an external apparatus after the image data is approved by the user, and deleting the image data;
- in a case where the image data has exceeded a predetermined storage period without the name being approved by the user, in a case where the name satisfies a predetermined condition, transmitting the image data to the external apparatus before deleting the image data;
- and
- deleting the image data that has exceeded the predetermined storage period without the name being approved by the user.
A method of processing information by an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:
- generating a name using characters recognized in image data, assigning the name to the image data, and storing the image data;
- making a request for approval by a user regarding the name, transmitting the image data to an external apparatus after the image data is approved by the user, and deleting the image data;
- in a case where the image data has exceeded a predetermined storage period without the name being approved by the user, in a case where the name satisfies a predetermined condition, transmitting the image data to the external apparatus before deleting the image data;
- and
- deleting the image data that has exceeded the predetermined storage period without the name being approved by the user.
