## Abstract

A method includes: receiving, via a mobile device, an indication from a user to perform a transaction to transfer funds to a recipient; selecting a default payment account of a plurality of accounts of a user based on a user preference received from the user; and, transmitting funds to the recipient responsive to receiving the indication from the user.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A computer-implemented method, comprising:
receiving, by a computer system and via a mobile device, an indication from a user to perform a transaction to transfer funds to a recipient;
selecting, by the computer system, a default payment account of a plurality of accounts of the user based on a user preference received from the user; and
transmitting, by the computer system, the funds to the recipient responsive to receiving the indication from the user.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein selecting, by the computer system, the default payment account of the plurality of accounts of the user is based on at least one of the user preference received from the user or a current account balance for each of the plurality of accounts of the user.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the default payment account is selected based on current account balance information for each of the plurality of accounts of the user.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The method of claim 3, wherein at least one of the plurality of accounts is excluded from being the default payment account based on a current account balance of the excluded account being below a predefined threshold.

### Claim 5 (depends on 3)

The method of claim 3, wherein at least one of the plurality of accounts is excluded from being the default payment account based on a remaining available credit of the excluded account being below a predefined threshold.

### Claim 6 (depends on 3)

The method of claim 3, wherein the account balance information relates to available rewards.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the user preference relates to interest rates associated with the plurality of accounts, and wherein the default payment account is selected based on the default payment account having a lower interest rate than at least one of the other of the plurality of accounts.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the user preference relate to billing cycles associated with each of the plurality of accounts, and wherein the default payment account is selected based on maximizing an amount of time available to the user to pay for a purchase.

### Claim 9

A computing system, comprising:
at least one memory; and
one or more processors coupled to the at least one memory, the one or more processors configured to:
receive, via a mobile device, an indication from a user to perform a transaction to transfer funds to a recipient;
select a default payment account of a plurality of accounts of the user based on a user preference received from the user; and
cause transmission of the funds to the recipient responsive to receiving the indication from the user.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The computing system of claim 9, wherein the default payment account is selected based on current account balance information for each of the plurality of accounts of the user.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The computing system of claim 10, wherein at least one of the plurality of accounts is excluded from being the default payment account based on a current account balance of the excluded account being below a predefined threshold.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The computing system of claim 10, wherein at least one of the plurality of accounts is excluded from being the default payment account based on a remaining available credit of the excluded account being below a predefined threshold.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

The computing system of claim 10, wherein the account balance information relates to available rewards.

### Claim 14 (depends on 9)

The computing system of claim 9, wherein the user preference relates to interest rates associated with each of the plurality of accounts, and wherein the default payment account is selected based on the default payment account having a lower interest rate than at least one of the other of the plurality of accounts.

### Claim 15 (depends on 9)

The computing system of claim 9, wherein the user preference relate to billing cycles associated with each of the plurality of accounts, and wherein the default payment account is selected based on maximizing an amount of time available to the user to pay for a purchase.

### Claim 16

A non-transitory computer readable medium containing instructions therein that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
receiving, via a mobile device, an indication from a user to perform a transaction to transfer funds to a recipient;
selecting a default payment account of a plurality of accounts of the user based on a user preference received from the user; and
transmitting the funds to the recipient responsive to receiving the indication from the user.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16, wherein the default payment account is selected based on current account balance information for each of the plurality of accounts of the user.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17, wherein at least one of the plurality of accounts is excluded from being the default payment account based on a current account balance of the excluded account being below a predefined threshold.

### Claim 19 (depends on 17)

The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17, wherein at least one of the plurality of accounts is excluded from being the default payment account based on a remaining available credit of the excluded account being below a predefined threshold.

### Claim 20 (depends on 17)

The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17, wherein the account balance information relates to available rewards.
