The invention relates to a heat exchanger for thermally treating a vehicle cabin. The heat exchanger includes a core portion made of at least a plurality of tubes and a plurality of fins. The heat exchanger includes at least one header tank located at one end of the core portion. The header tank includes at least a collecting plate which have a U-shape, a cover plate connected to the collecting plate and at least one cap plate which is located at one longitudinal end of the header tank. The collecting plate and the cover plate are linked together by an overlapping portion and the cap plate is maintained in position within the header tank by a tongue made in continuation of the overlapping portion.
A heat exchanger for thermally treating a vehicle cabin, comprising a core portion made of at least a plurality of tubes and a plurality of fins, at least one header tank located at one end of the core portion, the at least one header tank including at least a collecting plate which has a U-shape, a cover plate connected to the collecting plate and at least one cap plate which is located at one longitudinal end of the at least one header tank, the collecting plate and the at least one cover plate being linked together by an overlapping portion, wherein the collecting plate, the cover plate and the at least one cap plate are defining an internal volume of the at least one header tank that is hydraulically communicating with the core portion, the at least one cap plate being at least partially mounted inside the internal volume and maintained in position by tongue made in continuation of the overlapping portion.
