Frame assembly

A frame assembly for displaying a flat article, the frame assembly comprising:

• a frame comprising:
• a floor structure comprising a floor having an inner edge and an outer edge and an inner annular wall extending upwardly from the inner edge of the floor and terminating at a top edge;
• and
• an outer annular wall extending upwardly from the outer edge of the floor and terminating at a front edge, the outer annular wall comprising an outer surface defining a periphery of the frame and an inner surface defining a display cavity;
• wherein the outer annular wall comprises a plurality of corner portions each comprising a corner of the outer annular wall and a plurality of side portions each extending between two of the corner portions;
• and
• wherein, along at least one of the corner portions, the outer annular wall comprises a lower portion adjacent to the floor of the floor structure and an upper portion adjacent to the front edge of the outer annular wall, the lower portion having a first thickness and the upper portion having a second thickness, the first thickness being greater than the second thickness.

A frame assembly for displaying a flat article, the frame assembly comprising:

• a frame comprising:
• a floor structure comprising a floor having an inner edge and an outer edge and an inner annular wall extending upwardly from the inner edge;
• and
• an outer annular wall extending upwardly from the outer edge of the floor,
• the outer annular wall comprising an outer surface defining a periphery of the frame and an inner surface defining a display cavity;
• wherein the outer annular wall comprises a plurality of corner portions each comprising a corner of the outer annular wall and a plurality of side portions each extending between two of the corner portions;
• and
• wherein the inner surface of the outer annular wall comprises a shoulder located at each intersection between one of the plurality of corner portions and one of the plurality of side portions.
