Abstract
Polyethylene glycol derivatives of the following formula I and uses thereof are disclosed. A method for manufacturing the polyethylene glycol derivatives is also disclosed.
Claims26
A polyethylene glycol compound represented by Formula 1 below, a stereoisomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein, in Formula 1 above,
- R1 is aldehyde;
- each of L1 to L3 is independently a linear or branched C1-6 alkylene;
- R2 is ortho-pyridyl disulfide (OPSS);
- and
- n is an integer of 10 to 2400.
A physiologically active polypeptide, wherein the polyethylene glycol compound represented by Formula 1 below, a stereoisomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein, in Formula 1 above,
- R1 is aldehyde;
- each of L1 to L3 is independently a linear or branched C1-6 alkylene;
- R2 is ortho-pyridyl disulfide (OPSS), thiol, or halogen;
- and
- n is an integer of 10 to 2400,
- is attached thereto.
A conjugate, wherein each of a physiologically active polypeptide and a carrier protein is independently attached to reactive groups at both ends of the compound represented by Formula 1 below, a stereoisomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein, in Formula 1 above,
- R1 is aldehyde;
- each of L1 to L3 is independently a linear or branched C1-6 alkylene;
- R2 is ortho-pyridyl disulfide (OPSS), thiol, or halogen;
- and
- n is an integer of 10 to 2400.
