Display panel and display device comprising the same

A display panel comprising:

• a substrate including a display area having a plurality of organic light emitting elements corresponding to a plurality of light emitting areas, wherein a first optical area of the display area overlaps a first optical electronic device disposed under the display panel and comprises a plurality of first light transmission areas in addition to the plurality of light emitting areas, and wherein a third optical area of the display panel not overlapping the first optical electronic device includes the plurality of light emitting areas without including the first light transmission areas;
• an encapsulation layer disposed on the organic light emitting elements;
• a first insulating layer disposed on the encapsulation layer;
• a touch sensor disposed on the first insulating layer;
• and
• a second insulating layer disposed on the touch sensor,
• wherein a thickness of the first insulating layer in the third optical area is smaller than a thickness of the second insulating layer in the third optical area, and the thickness of the first insulating layer in the first optical area is smaller than the thickness of the second insulating layer in the first optical area, and
• wherein the thickness of the first insulating layer disposed in the third optical area is greater than the thickness of the first insulating layer disposed in the first optical area, and the thickness of the second insulating layer disposed in the third optical area is greater than the thickness of the second insulating layer disposed in the first optical area.

A display panel comprising:

• a substrate including a display comprising a first optical area overlapping a first optical electronic device located under the substrate, and a third optical area located outside of the first optical area;
• and
• a plurality of organic light emitting elements disposed over the substrate in the first optical area and the third optical area;
• an encapsulation layer disposed on at least one of the organic light emitting elements;
• a first insulating layer disposed on the encapsulation layer;
• a touch sensor disposed on the first insulating layer;
• and
• a second insulating layer disposed on the touch sensor,
• wherein respective thicknesses of the first insulating layer in the third optical area and the first optical area are not uniform, and respective thicknesses of the second insulating layer in the third optical area and the first optical area are not uniform to increase a transmittance of incident light over a predetermined wavelength.
