Abstract
A display apparatus can include a display panel configured to display or reproduce an image or a video, a guide panel disposed in rear of the display panel, a printed circuit board mounted on the guide panel and electrically connected to the display panel, and a chip on film (COF). The COF can have one side electrically connected to the display panel and another side electrically connected to the printed circuit board. A portion of the COF can be bent to surround the guide panel. Further, in the guide panel, a buffer for alleviating an impact applied to the COF can be formed in a portion surrounded by the COF. In addition, a plurality of buffer bars can be disposed to be spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction of the guide panel.
Claims12
A display apparatus comprising:
- a display panel configured to display or reproduce an image or a video;
- a guide panel disposed in rear of the display panel;
- a printed circuit board mounted on the guide panel and electrically connected to the display panel;
- and
- a chip on film (COF) having one side electrically connected to the display panel and another side electrically connected to the printed circuit board,
- wherein a portion of the COF is bent to surround the guide panel, and
- wherein a buffer for alleviating an impact applied to the COF is formed in a portion of the guide panel surrounded by the COF.
