Abstract
A base station comprising a processor, a wireless interface, and a communication interface are configured to receive broadcast or multicast data using shared delivery with the shared delivery broadcast or multicast data being received by a plurality of base stations. Further, the wireless interface configured to transmit the broadcast or multicast data to a plurality of user equipments (UEs) and based on acknowledgement feedback, the broadcast or multicast data is selectively retransmitted using unicast or multicast or broadcast.
Claims20
A base station comprising:
- a processor;
- a wireless interface;
- and
- a communication interface,
- wherein:
- the communication interface and processor are configured to receive broadcast or multicast data using shared delivery with the shared delivery broadcast or multicast data being received by a plurality of base stations,
- the wireless interface configured to transmit the broadcast or multicast data to a plurality of user equipments (UEs), and
- based on acknowledgement feedback, the broadcast or multicast data is selectively retransmitted using unicast or multicast or broadcast.
A method performed by a base station, the method comprising:
- receiving broadcast or multicast data using shared delivery with the shared delivery broadcast or multicast data being received by a plurality of base stations, and
- transmitting the broadcast or multicast data to a plurality of user equipments (UEs),
- wherein based on acknowledgement feedback, the broadcast or multicast data is selectively retransmitted using unicast or multicast or broadcast.
At least one non-transient computer readable medium containing program instructions for causing at least one processor of a base station to perform a method, the method comprising:
- receiving broadcast or multicast data using shared delivery with the shared delivery broadcast or multicast data being received by a plurality of base stations,
- transmitting the broadcast or multicast data to a plurality of user equipments (UEs),
- wherein based on acknowledgement feedback, the broadcast or multicast data is selectively retransmitted using unicast or multicast or broadcast.
