A biodynamic luminaire comprising a light source to provide an illumination output and which at least to some extent mitigates the detrimental effect of artificial lighting on a subject in an environment, the luminaire comprises one or more sensors which detect or determine one or more behaviours and/or one or more psychological states of the subject, and a control unit which changes the illumination output based on data received from or by the sensor/s.
A luminaire comprising a base tray and a diffuser, and spanning between the base tray and the diffuser is a lamp mount on which are mounted a number of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), the LEDs are connected to a control unit, and the LEDs can be selectively energized by the control unit to provide tunable emitted light.
