A coaptation assistance element delivery system for treating mal-coaptation of a heart valve, the heart valve having an annulus, the coaptation assistance element delivery system comprising:
- a coaptation assistance element comprising a first surface and an opposed second surface, each surface bounded by a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, an inferior edge, and a superior edge, the coaptation assistance element comprising a hub;
- a secondary anchor tether extending through the coaptation assistance element;
- a secondary anchor configured to rotate to engage the annulus, wherein the secondary anchor comprises a window;
- and
- a secondary anchor driver configured to rotate the secondary anchor, wherein the secondary anchor driver comprises a locking tab configured to engage the window of the secondary anchor.
A coaptation assistance element delivery system for treating mal-coaptation of a heart valve, the heart valve having an annulus, the coaptation assistance element delivery system comprising:
- a coaptation assistance element comprising a first surface and an opposed second surface, each surface bounded by a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, an inferior edge, and a superior edge, the coaptation assistance element comprising a hub;
- a secondary anchor tether extending through the coaptation assistance element;
- a secondary anchor configured to rotate to engage the annulus;
- a secondary anchor guide rail;
- and
- a secondary anchor driver configured to rotate the secondary anchor.
A coaptation assistance element delivery system for treating mal-coaptation of a heart valve, the heart valve having an annulus, the coaptation assistance element delivery system comprising:
- a coaptation assistance element comprising a first surface and an opposed second surface, each surface bounded by a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, an inferior edge, and a superior edge, the coaptation assistance element comprising a hub;
- a primary anchor configured to rotate to engage the annulus;
- a primary anchor driver configured to rotate the primary anchor;
- a secondary anchor configured to rotate to engage the annulus;
- and
- a secondary anchor driver configured to rotate the secondary anchor.
