Systems and methods for physiology monitoring garment

A smart garment for detecting physiological data, the smart garment comprising:

• a garment configured to be worn on an upper body of a user;
• a first garment portion having a primary sensor panel having an ECG sensor of a first sensor type;
• a second garment portion having a complementary sensor panel, the complementary sensor panel including a complementary ECG sensor and a biosensor of a second sensor type different from the first sensor type;
• one or more conductive fibres to electrically interconnect the primary sensor panel with the complementary sensor panel;
• and
• a controller device configured to process a signal from the biosensor and ECG signals from the ECG sensors to detect a health event of the user.

A smart garment for detecting physiological data, the smart garment comprising:

• a garment configured to be worn on a body of a user;
• a first garment portion having a primary sensor panel having an ECG sensor of a first sensor type;
• a second garment portion having a complementary sensor panel, the complementary sensor panel including a complementary ECG sensor and a biosensor of a second sensor type different from the first sensor type;
• one or more conductive fibres to electrically interconnect the primary sensor panel with the complementary sensor panel;
• and
• a controller device configured to process a signal from the biosensor and ECG signals from the ECG sensors to detect a health event of the user.

A method for detecting physiological data using a smart garment, the method comprising the steps of:

• receiving ECG signals from ECG sensors including:
• an ECG sensor of a first sensor type of a first garment portion of a garment;
• and
• a complementary ECG sensor of a complementary sensor panel of a second garment portion of the garment;
• receiving a signal from a biosensor of a second sensor type different from the first sensor type, the biosensor also of the complementary sensor panel;
• and
• processing the signal and the ECG signals to detect a health event of the user;
• wherein one or more conductive fibres to electrically interconnect the primary sensor panel with the complementary sensor panel.
