Abstract
A vibration therapy device that includes a housing that includes a handle portion, a head portion, and a module seat defined on the head portion, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor, a reciprocating attachment removably secured to a distal end of the push rod assembly and configured to provide a first type of therapy, and a therapy module removably secured to the module seat and configured to provide a second type of therapy.
Claims19
A vibration therapy device, comprising:
- a housing, comprising:
- a handle portion,
- a head portion, and
- a module seat defined on the head portion;
- an electrical source;
- a motor positioned in the housing;
- a switch for activating the motor;
- a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor;
- a reciprocating attachment removably secured to a distal end of the push rod assembly and configured to provide a first type of therapy;
- and
- a ring module removably secured to the module seat, wherein the ring module is configured to provide a second type of therapy and is in electrical communication with the electrical source.
A vibration therapy system, comprising:
- a vibration therapy device, comprising:
- a housing comprising a handle portion, a head portion, and a module seat defined on the head portion,
- an electrical source,
- a motor positioned in the housing,
- a switch for activating the motor, and
- a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor, wherein the push rod assembly comprises an attachment member that defines a distal end of the push rod assembly;
- a reciprocating attachment configured to be removably secured to the attachment member and configured to provide a first type of therapy;
- a ring module configured to be removably secured to the module seat, wherein the ring module is configured to electrically communicate with the electrical source and to provide a second type of therapy;
- and
- a cap module comprising a main body portion and is configured to be removably secured to the module seat, wherein the cap module is configured to electrically communicate with the electrical source and to provide a third type of therapy.
A vibration therapy device, comprising:
- a housing, comprising:
- a handle portion,
- a head portion, and
- a module seat defined on the head portion;
- an electrical source;
- a motor positioned in the housing;
- a switch for activating the motor;
- a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor;
- a reciprocating attachment removably secured to a distal end of the push rod assembly and configured to provide a first type of therapy, wherein the reciprocating attachment comprises a contact surface;
- a skin treatment member removably secured to the reciprocating attachment and comprising a delivery portion, wherein the delivery portion is configured to at least partially cover the contact surface of the reciprocating attachment;
- and
- a ring module removably secured to the module seat, wherein the ring module is configured to provide a second type of therapy and in electrical communication with the electrical source.
