Abstract
Method, network device and terminal device for managing a resource in a wireless communication system are disclosed. A method may comprise determining a virtual bandwidth part, V-BWP, for a terminal device; and indicating the V-BWP to the terminal device, wherein the V-BWP comprises two or more bandwidth parts and any active bandwidth part of the V-BWP can be deactivated.
Claims38
A method (200) implemented in a network device of a wireless communication system, comprising:
- determining (202) a virtual bandwidth part, V-BWP, for a terminal device;
- and
- indicating (204) the V-BWP to the terminal device,
- wherein the V-BWP comprises two or more bandwidth parts and any active bandwidth part of the V-BWP can be deactivated.
A method (300) implemented in a terminal device of a wireless communication system, comprising:
- receiving (302), from a network device, an indication of a virtual bandwidth part, V-BWP;
- and
- determining (304) the V-BWP from the indication,
- wherein the V-BWP comprises two or more bandwidth parts and any active bandwidth part of the V-BWP can be deactivated.
A network device (410) of a wireless communication system, comprising:
- a processor (411);
- and
- a memory (412), the memory (412) containing instructions executable by the processor (411), whereby the network device (410) is operative to:
- determine a virtual bandwidth part, V-BWP, for a terminal device;
- and
- indicating the V-BWP to the terminal device;
- wherein the V-BWP comprises two or more bandwidth parts and any active bandwidth part of the V-BWP can be deactivated.
A terminal device (510) of a wireless communication system, comprising:
- a processor (511);
- and
- a memory (512), the memory (512) containing instructions executable by the processor (511), whereby the terminal device (510) is operative to:
- receive, from a network device, an indication of a virtual bandwidth part, V-BWP;
- and
- determine the V-BWP from the indication,
- wherein the V-BWP comprises two or more bandwidth parts and any active bandwidth part of the V-BWP can be deactivated.
