• and at least one non-transitory memory including computer program code, where the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus to at least:
• determine a power limiting state for a candidate uplink beam pair configured for a user equipment of a communication network;
• based at least on the determining, cause configuration of a different candidate uplink beam pair for communicating towards the communication network;
• and
• communicate at least one power headroom report for the candidate uplink beam pair based on the power limiting state.

A method, comprising:

• determining a power limiting state for a candidate uplink beam pair configured for a user equipment of a communication network;
• based at least on the determining, causing configuration of a different candidate uplink beam pair for communicating towards the communication network;
• and
• communicating at least one power headroom report for the candidate uplink beam pair based on the power limiting state.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium encoded with instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause a user equipment of a communication network to at least:

• determine a power limiting state for a candidate uplink beam pair configured for the user equipment;
• based at least on the determining, cause configuration of a different candidate uplink beam pair for communicating towards the communication network;
• and
• communicate at least one power headroom report for the candidate uplink beam pair based on the power limiting state.
