Abstract
The present disclosure relates to the field of polymer chemistry and more particularly to poly(sarcosine) polymers and uses thereof. The disclosure is also directed to compositions comprising a protein and a poly(sarcosine) polymer and uses thereof.

A composition, comprising:
- (i) a polymer of Formula I:
- or a salt thereof, wherein:
- R1a is an optionally substituted (C1-C20)aliphatic group;
- R1b is H or an optionally substituted (C1-C20)aliphatic group;
- R2 is H or an optionally substituted (C1-C20)aliphatic group;
- x is 5-250;
- and
- (ii) a protein.

- (i) a polymer of Formula IV:
- wherein:
- R1a is an optionally substituted (C1-C6)aliphatic group;
- R1b is H, or an optionally substituted (C1-C6)aliphatic group;
- R2 is an optionally substituted (C11-19)hydrophobic aliphatic group;
- x is 5-50;
- and
- (ii) a protein.
