The present invention relates to delayed release pharmaceutical compositions comprising linaclotide or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, as well as to various methods and processes for the preparation and use of the compositions.

A delayed release pharmaceutical composition comprising linaclotide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
A delayed release composition comprising an enteric coated tablet, wherein the tablet is comprises:
- linaclotide;
- Ca2+;
- histidine;
- and
- polyvinyl alcohol (PVA).
A method of treating a gastrointestinal disorder comprising administering to a patient in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of the composition of any of claims 1-60 or 70.
