The invention relates to garment assembly for the transmission of the external light radiations or light waves to the skin underneath the garment assembly, more particularly it relates to a garment assembly comprising at least a light wave guiding means with preferably one or more light wave collecting means and preferably one or more light wave diffusing means, for collecting light waves from the external side of the garment assembly and transferring it to the skin covered by the garment assembly or by another garment. Said garment assembly may be composed by a first part, facing an external side of the garment assembly and a second part, facing an internal side of the garment assembly, which are permanently or detachably optically coupled to each other through said wave guiding means.

The garment assembly (2) according to any of the preceding claims, comprising a filter to let through only a certain wavelength, preferably only the UVB wavelength and/or comprising waveguides that are at least partially transparent to UVB waves and at least partially opaque to UVA waves.
The garment assembly (2) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein between the wave diffusing means (3) and the wave collecting means (4) there is at least a partially reflecting material layer (15), so that the wave guiding means (8) are placed between the skin and the reflective garment, in order to reflect the diffused light that is not directed in inward direction.
The garment assembly (2) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the interior surface and the exterior surface of the garment assembly are detachable to each other so that the garment assembly comprises a first garment (12′) and a second garment (12″) adapted to be optically detachably joined to the first garment.
