Abstract
An apparatus for dosing coffee beans for the purpose of selecting a metered quantity to be ground comprises a portioning device with a metering chamber having a receiving volume for receiving the coffee beans. The receiving volume is variable. Preferably, the setting of the metered quantity is performed mechanically, wherein the effect of the settings on the portioning device takes place mechanically. Preferably, the apparatus comprises a setting ring for manually adjustment of the metered quantity
