Abstract
A disk device includes magnetic disks, ramps, suspensions, and magnetic disks. The magnetic disks are arranged above a housing bottom and configured to be rotated around a first rotation axis. The ramps are arranged above the housing bottom. The suspensions are configured to be rotated around a second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis, The magnetic heads are mounted on the suspensions, respectively. Each of the suspensions is configured to be rotated around the second rotation axis from a first position above or below one of the magnetic disks to a second position on one of the ramps. The plurality of ramps includes a first ramp and a second ramp that is above the first ramp. An inner end of the second ramp is closer to the first rotation axis than is an inner end of the first ramp.

A disk device comprising:
- a plurality of magnetic disks arranged above a housing bottom and configured to be rotated around a first rotation axis;
- a plurality of ramps arranged above the housing bottom;
- a plurality of suspensions configured to be rotated around a second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis;
- a plurality of magnetic heads mounted on the suspensions, respectively, and configured to perform reading and writing with respect to the magnetic disks, wherein
- each of the suspensions is configured to be rotated around the second rotation axis from a first position above or below one of the magnetic disks to a second position on one of the ramps,
- the plurality of ramps includes a first ramp and a second ramp that is above the first ramp, and
- an inner end of the second ramp is closer to the first rotation axis than is an inner end of the first ramp.
A disk device comprising:
- a plurality of magnetic disks arranged above a housing bottom and configured to be rotated around a first rotation axis;
- a plurality of ramps arranged above the housing bottom;
- a plurality of suspensions configured to rotate around a second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis;
- a plurality of magnetic heads mounted on the suspensions, respectively, and configured to perform reading and writing with respect to the magnetic disks, wherein
- each of the suspensions is configured to be rotated around the second rotation axis from a first position above or below one of the magnetic disks to a second position on one of the ramps,
- the plurality of ramps includes a first ramp and a second ramp farther from the housing bottom than the first ramp,
- the first ramp includes a first surface inclined with respect to a corresponding one of the magnetic disks by a first angle, and
- the second ramp includes a second surface inclined with respect to a corresponding one of the magnetic disks by a second angle less than the first angle.
A disk device comprising:
- a magnetic disk configured to be rotated around a first rotation axis;
- first and second ramps arranged above a housing bottom;
- first and second suspensions configured to be rotated around a second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis;
- first and second magnetic heads mounted on the first and second suspensions, respectively, and configured to perform reading and writing with respect to first and second recording surfaces of the magnetic disk, respectively, wherein
- the first and second suspensions are configured to be rotated about the second rotation axis from a first position above and below the magnetic disk, respectively, to a second position on the first and second ramps, respectively,
- the second ramp is above the first ramp, and
- an inner end of the second ramp is closer to the first rotation axis than an inner end of the first ramp.
