Foldable clipboard

A foldable clipboard including an expanded orientation and a folded orientation, comprising:

• a first folding panel including a pair of first panel upper hinge arms, each first panel upper hinge arm comprising a flange which extends outward, away from respective opposing first and second side edges of the first folding panel;
• a second panel including a pair of second panel lower hinge arms, each second panel lower hinge arm extending upward from one end of respective opposing first and second side edges of the second panel, and a pair of second panel upper hinge arms, each second panel upper hinge arm extending upward from an opposite end of respective opposing first and second side edges of the second panel;
• and
• a third folding panel including a pair of third panel lower hinge arms, each third panel lower hinge arm comprising a flange which extends outward, away from respective opposing first and second side edges of the third folding panel;
• a first pair of connectors and a second pair of connectors, the first pair of connectors connecting the pair of first panel upper hinge arms to the pair of second panel lower hinge arms, respectively, to form a pair of first hinges, and the second pair of connectors connecting the pair of second panel upper hinge arms to the pair of third panel lower hinge arms, respectively, to form the second pair of hinges;
• and
• a clip operatively coupled to a front surface of the first folding panel,
• wherein an inner side of each first panel upper hinge arm of the pair of first panel upper hinge arms at least partially overlap an outer side of each second panel lower hinge arm of the pair of second panel lower hinge arms, respectively, of the pair of first hinges, when in the folded orientation, and wherein an inner side of each third panel lower hinge arm of the pair of third panel lower hinge arms at least partially overlap an outer side of each second panel upper hinge arm of the pair of second panel upper hinge arms, respectively, of the pair of second hinges, when in the folded orientation,
• wherein the third folding panel is moveable to overlap the second panel, and the first folding panel is movable to overlap the third folding panel to form the folded orientation, such that the third folding panel is spaced apart from both the second panel and the first folding panel to form the folded orientation,
• wherein the first folding panel extends away from the second panel, and the third folding panel extends away from the second panel, and a lower edge of the first folding panel abuts an upper edge of the second panel, and a lower edge of the second panel abuts an upper edge of the third folding panel so that the first folding panel, the second panel, and the third folding panel cooperate to form a flat, planar structure in the expanded orientation,
• wherein in the expanded orientation, an upper edge of the first folding panel and a lower edge of the third folding panel are parallel to each other, and
• wherein the first pair of hinges and their respective flanges are integrally formed with the first folding panel and the second panel, respectively, and wherein the second pair of hinges and their respective flanges are integrally formed with the second panel and the third folding panel, respectively.
