Abstract
A hybrid cable tie for tightening one or more cables, having a head having a cover and a base, the cover being hinged to the base to be movable between an open position and a closed position, a lacing band having a strap and an attachment portion connecting the strap to the head, wherein the head is arranged to receive, between the base and the cover, a portion of the strap, and one of the base and the cover has a first protrusion and the other of the base and the cover has a counter-shape arranged in regard to the first protrusion when the cover is in the closed position so as to pinch the strap.

A cable tie comprising:
- a head, the head comprising:
- a base;
- and
- a cover, the cover movable between an open position and a closed position;
- and
- a lacing band, the lacing band comprising:
- a strap;
- and
- an attachment portion connecting the strap to the head,
- wherein the head is arranged to receive, between the base and the cover, a portion of the strap and wherein one of the base and the cover has a first protrusion, and the other of the base and the cover has a counter-shape arranged in regard to the first protrusion when the cover is in the closed position so as to pinch the strap.
