Risk-based manufacturing plant control

A system, comprising:

• one or more memory devices storing instructions;
• and
• one or more data processing apparatus that are configured to interact with the one or more memory devices, and upon execution of the instructions, perform operations including:
• obtaining, using a set of sensors, a set of current operational characteristics for a plurality of plant devices in a manufacturing plant;
• analyzing, for a particular plant device, a set of risk factors corresponding to a failure of the particular plant device;
• determining, based on the set of risk factors, an overall risk posed by the particular plant device to operations of the manufacturing plant;
• and
• adjusting one or more operations of the manufacturing plant based on the overall risk.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more data processing apparatus, cause the one or more data processing apparatus to perform operations comprising:

• obtaining, using a set of sensors, a set of current operational characteristics for a plurality of plant devices in a manufacturing plant;
• analyzing, for a particular plant device, a set of risk factors corresponding to a failure of the particular plant device;
• determining, based on the set of risk factors, an overall risk posed by the particular plant device to operations of the manufacturing plant;
• and
• adjusting one or more operations of the manufacturing plant based on the overall risk.
