A high-frequency welding method

A high-frequency welding method for welding an accessory (2), which defines a profile having a specific shape and dimensions, to a substrate (5) by means of high-frequency welding machinery (1) which includes a female mold (21), which comprises a cavity (41) which is formed by a profile having substantially the same shape and dimensions as the accessory (2), and a male mold (22), which comprises a relief (42) which is formed by a profile having substantially the same shape and dimensions as the accessory (2), the method comprising:

• mounting the female mold (21) or the male mold (22) on a movable upper plate (11) of the high-frequency welding machinery (1);
• mounting on a fixed lower plate (12) of the high-frequency welding machinery (1) the female mold (21), if the male mold (22) is mounted on the upper plate (11), or the male mold (22), if the female mold (21) is mounted on the upper plate (11), in such a manner that the profile of the cavity (41) is aligned in a closure direction of the molds with the profile of the relief (42) in such a manner that, when the female mold (21) is closed on the male mold (22), the profile of the cavity (41) coincides with the profile of the relief (42);
• positioning the accessory (2) on the relief (42), if the male mold (22) is mounted on the fixed lower plate (12), in such a manner that the profile of the accessory (2) coincides with the profile of the relief (42) or in the cavity (41), if the female mold (21) is mounted on the fixed lower plate (12), in such a manner that the profile of the accessory (2) coincides with the profile of the cavity (41);
• positioning the substrate (5) above the accessory (2);
• moving the movable upper plate (11) towards the fixed lower plate (12) in such a manner that the accessory (2) is pressed between the cavity (41) and the relief (42);
• supplying high-frequency welding energy to at least one of:
• the movable upper plate (11) or to the fixed lower plate (12) so as to weld the accessory (2) to the substrate (5).
