A protein contrast agent comprising:
- a parvalbumin polypeptide, wherein the parvalbumin polypeptide has the amino acid sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 10;
- wherein the protein contrast agent further comprises a HER2 or HER1/EGFR targeting moiety directly fused or indirectly linked via a flexible peptide linker to a terminus of the parvalbumin polypeptide.
