Abstract
Provided are therapies, including standalone and combination therapies, for treating neuropilin-2 (NRP2)-associated diseases and conditions, which include the use of at least one histidyl-tRNA synthetase (HRS) polypeptide.

A method for modulating autophagy, phagocytosis, or efferocytosis in a subject having a neuropilin-2 (NRP2) associated disease or condition, comprising
- (a) selecting the subject for treatment based on having increased levels or expression of NRP2a and/or NRP2b relative to a healthy control or matched control standard or population of subjects;
- and
- (b) administering to the subject a therapeutic composition comprising a histidyl-tRNA synthetase (HRS) polypeptide.
A method for treating an inflammatory lung disease in a subject in need thereof, comprising
- (a) selecting the subject for treatment based on having increased levels or expression of NRP2a and/or NRP2b relative to a healthy control or matched control standard or population of subjects;
- and
- (b) administering to the subject a therapeutic composition comprising a histidyl-tRNA synthetase (HRS) polypeptide.
