Coloring composition, film, color filter, solid-state imaging element, and image display device

A coloring composition comprising:

• a colorant;
• a polymerizable compound;
• and
• a photopolymerization initiator,
• wherein the colorant includes a green pigment,
• a content of the green pigment in a total solid content of the coloring composition is 25% by mass or more, and
• the green pigment includes a compound which is a compound represented by Formula (1) and has a maximal absorption wavelength in a wavelength range of 620 to 730 nm,
• in the formula, R1 to R16 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent,
• at least one of R1, . . . , or R16 is a group represented by Formula (R-1),
• two adjacent groups of R1 to R16 may be bonded to each other to form a ring, and
• M represents a metal atom, a metal oxide, or a metal halide,
• —X1—R100 (R-1)
• in Formula (R-1), X1 represents S or NRX1,
• RX1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent,
• R100 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and
• in a case where X1 is NRX1, R100 and RX1 may be bonded to each other to form a ring.
