An ink composition for ink jet recording comprising:
- resin particles of a urethane resin colored with a disperse dye,
- wherein the acid value of the urethane resin is 1 KOHmg/g or more and less than 100 KOHmg/g.
A coloring material dispersion liquid comprising:
- resin particles of a urethane resin colored with a disperse dye,
- wherein the acid value of the urethane resin is 1 KOHmg/g or more and less than 100 KOHmg/g.
