Abstract
A technique for improving heat resistance of a bacterium is provided. By mixing the bacterium with an oil or fat and an emulsifier, heat resistance of the bacterium can be improved.

A method of producing a composition containing a bacterium, the method comprising the following Steps A and B:
- (A) mixing the bacterium with an oil or fat;
- and
- (B) mixing the bacterium with an emulsifier;
- wherein the Step A is carried out at the melting point of the oil or fat or a higher temperature.
